Many of our juniors want to study for gate, Tnpsc and upsc. Due to financial issues they are struggling. Can we create a revolving fund? Before making road map I would like to know the opinion and ideas of others as well Funding for the online classes for different exams (can be displayed in library at designated time) Funding for the students studies (personally)through revolving fund and later it ll be paid back The new way the group suggest and discuss and formulate For that we can form a committee consisting of prof in our college itself

Karthick:

We can share the ideas in this group and We can Discuss and Finalize all Alumni Activities in Alumni Core Committee(Consisting of Elected Board Members in this year Alumni Meet) and Alumni Governing Council(Consisting of Principal, Patron and All X Presidents)

Murali:

Thats a good initiative... We pump funds and sponsor student projects in the past and it is possible... draft a roadmap for when, where and how to implement this. Since you have travelled through this you might be able to guide on this... we can discuss this...

Ashok:

It's a good idea to help the needy people from our college.... who are strong in academics but need financial support for further studies..... We can make a policy and involve major stakeholders to be part of BOG ( Board of Governance) and it's approval process.....

GnanaPrakash:

Pooling in money and making it to sponsor a candidate or making him to pay back later, can be worked out.. but the foremost question most of the people might like to hear an answer is what is the means of identifying the right candidate. This is the first question in most of the cases people ask and if we formulate the right approach, measuring criteria and executing it, pooling in money will be a cake walk. Yes committee can do it. And to help the committee to work independent of who is part of it, we need to identify selection criteria by charting out norms/rules to select the deserved students. Meanwhile I take it up in my batch group, to hear their views and interests ... Some interesting views might pop up as well. I will share it in a very premature stage and like to hear your views and how to streamline it and share  here if I hear something interesting ..is that fine ?
